We all pay one way or the other...carriers either have us pay or its part of a deduction of the overall rates...the common 70% most get... What would it be if the IC paid the Insurance?.....in my case its 80%...That extra 10% say you make $60,000 gross equals $6,000...now my insurance is less...

all delivered..now for the ugly paperwork...LOL and MORE coffee...

At the end of the day any expenses should be reflected in the rate of pay...

Good morning..getting ready to deliver...8 miles away...this van was rocking for awhile last night when the storm went thru....

it amazes me the creativity of carriers to what they charge for and how it is applied...and at the end of the day...they all are usually within a few cents of each other...its just the path to the bottomline you take...

so do they pay % and at what % or flat rate?

cause you are a straight...They really want your truck....CVs are more transient types...disposable...:)

I just observe that the left travel still flows at intersections much better because of the Michigan left ... things don't get restricted to 1 lane as much

Actually they improve traffic movement when at rush hour the left lane moves thru the intersection without the turners reducing the flow IMO I personally like them once used to them.... kind of like Texas frontage roads some would call them silly as well...
