At times I feel old for sure...other times much better

I actually cut up pallets/skids with a combo of skilsaw and chainsaw depending on the makeup of the skid! Takes about an hour to cut up 4 skids...

:p....back to the woodpile for an hour or so...

a long while ago there was a guy who actually had a wood burning stove in his van....I never seen it but I think Steady Eddie did...it was so cool an idea...

Ended up an 8.5 hr shift and 3 trucks. Odometer turned 1,112,000 tonight!:)

actually with wind up to 65mph yesterday dust clouds and tumbleweed were the order of the day... had a shift yesterday cut short when they found out the FD truck was NOT coming again from a Monday delay...NO Driver available..Warner is the contractor....now supposed to be 9am we shall...

In this business is the unknown factor we have no knowledge of.... like 10 minutes after we take that 3100 lb load , a 20 lb box load pops up... but we think we lucked out because we have a load... Take the 2 skid.... 3 skid debate.... over the years ... Turtle and I have comparative yearly...

Unfortunately there is this belief that heavier loads keep you moving thus you make better money...over the years I've seen this play out not so good when you spread out the miles and hear of the breakdown costs over time....It chews up most of that extra income in increments that can be hard to...
