I'm no authority, but I think expediting is about 1/3 attitude, 1/3 equipment and ability, 1/3 business discipline and 1/3 common sense. Oh, and of course there's the 133% commitment, as reference by my math!! LOL!!

I did a Manhattan delivery. ONCE!! LOL!! Actually wasn't that bad. Right down on Water St. I napped until the drop (office) opened and woke to about 150 officers all around me. Apparently they had/have meetings right out on the sidewalks! Who knew???

UPDATE - Blue PJ card phasing out BUT the Professional Driver card builds the 1/2 shower credit per 14-49 gallon fills. I'm a happy camper now, so you may not smell me passing you!!
Hold on to that BLUE card from PJ. I was just told, at the J in Columbia, SC, that those are being eliminated and that PJ doesn't have a "gas burner" card that builds shower credits any more. Blah!!

My Dell laptop was frequently splashed by beer. It was fond of IPAs. It's downfall was overuse. Wore through the finish on the touchpad and broke the ribbon cable to the monitor from several years of opening and closing. Oh, maybe the drop down the stairs was what did it in. :-)
I don't have a Sprinter but its my understanding that if they were not meticulously cared for in their first 200K miles that the repairs come sooner and the engine life it substantially shortened. Hopefully you are getting an outstanding deal on it.
My experience with rebates is several years old. But fuel retails have programs that they build diesel volume with by signing on fleet owners. The more volume we bought, the more rebate money we got. The rebates per gallon dropped dramatically a few years ago but in about '08 & '09 we were...
Don't kid yourself. I would bet they would be glad to haul a 1600 mile, 2-skid expedite from Detroit across the border when they have contacts willing to hook them up for 25-30 cents less per mile.
