Yeah, I've only gotten 3 loads back out of Florida.
JAX after dropping JAX.
Orlando after Orlando.
St Augustine after Orlando.
Nothing after Eglin AFB.
Nothing after Pensacola.
Nothing after Panama City.
That's what SHE said!!!
I want to scale again. I can't remember for sure if I had my bunk in then. For a while I had my stuff on the floor then folded up and stacked in front floor.
Then I took my right seat out too.
Who knows?!?!
My '06 Express extended 4.8L is 6,020 with me in it. I don't carry much at all. Maybe 250# including my bunk.
That would have to be a really light box on there. But, it would certainly be worth scaling.
Curb of about 5,700#? Add a few hundred for a bunk and gear. Say 6,000# curb. 9,980# GVWR. 3,980 legal payload and plenty of room for 6 "skinnies".
I think I like that!!
Got a spec sheet on the truck?
What was the standard drivetrain?
Inside box dims?
Sorry to be so nosey.
I'll get with you when I move the Pitt to South Alabama.
I've been known to squeeze a lot ov volume in this van. And I've got family in South Alabama if I need to layover.

My crystal ball was broken Wednesday. I mentioned going toward your load but then lamented saying "too bad you need a D unit".
I figured you would say otherwise if a big B unit would have sufficed.

She IS!!! At 51%, she's the President, CFO, Head bidder, A/R, A/P, Scheduler, Ring leader to the munchkins, chef and yes, a courier to boot!!!!
She rocks it all!!
Plus a bunch of stuff I won't elaborate on here. ;)
I'll be home by tonight. Not a great week for me this week. About $1350. But it's on the tail of about 15-20 good to great weeks so I'm not going to complain!!!
I'm going to shower here in Jackson, hang for a couple of hours, then start heading toward Dayton if nothing exciting happens. At least...
Me too. I even came up to Memphis. Thought I had one to NC but not. If nothing in the next couple I'll probably move between Memphis and Nashville. Or somewhere in there.
