    Lift Gate Lift Axle

Being on the flat rate plan, would the lift gate bring in a higher rate, or just increased load opportunities? Posted with my Droid EO Forum App

Carlisle, PA Petro waiting to get the truck into the KW shop in the morning. It's having "issues". Hanging out enjoying the weather. Depending on how long we are here, might rent a car and visit Gettysburg. Posted with my Droid EO Forum App

They are coming out to fix it in the morning. Most places here don't have power and aren't even open. Called three other places before even getting ahold of anyone.

Still in Connecticut. Woke up this morning with a nice 9" or so (and still growing) crack in the windshield. (It was not there when we went to bed last night) Went out of service to get it fixed. The shops here are so backed up due to the snowstorm, they won't be able to get to it till in the...

    Interesting Blog

We met them in Fargo, ND and talked to them for about half an hour about trucking, bikes and life. They were still with FedEx at that point, but were not very happy with the amount of miles they were getting vs. the amount of miles they were actually "promised". We were surprised to hear we (in...

    Perspectives

True. We need to remove the influence business and labor has on our election process. Only individual HUMANS should have the ability to contribute to political campaigns, and on a limited basis. Would solve a majority of our problems. Will something like that ever get put into law? Fat chance.

bracing for 1st snowstorm of the season

Beautiful morning here in Connecticut. Power out all around us, but the TA made it through without losing it overnight. Restaurant is crowded this morning.

    White glove equipment

Thanks! This is Back of Truck Version 3.0! lol. It took awhile to figure out that the things we used the most should be the easiest to get to. Well Duh! We are hauling more WG loads now than when we started out. For the first month or so, about all we hauled was surface freight, so we really...

bracing for 1st snowstorm of the season

I used the EO droid (android) app on my phone to upload those last pics. It works easier than trying to attach a photo. You can insert pics directly from the gallery on your phone. Also, if you put the photo in you album here on EO, you can look at the picture in the album, copy the BB Code...

bracing for 1st snowstorm of the season

It's starting to snow. :( Mixed with rain at the moment. We are sitting inside the restaurant here. The waitresses are not happy! Apparently they do not like the snow either!

bracing for 1st snowstorm of the season

Sure thing! Looking at the radar, should be getting rain with the hour or so, then probably changing over to ice/snow. I'll try to get some pictures also.

Sitting in Southington, Ct. at the TA. Wind is just starting to pick up here. Should prove interesting. Glad we don't have to be in NJ till Monday morning :D

    White glove equipment

This might give you a "visual" as to how much room WG equipment takes up in the truck. Our box is 22' long, and we have store everything in the front 2', leaving 20' available freight. We have never hauled a load (yet) that required us to use the entire 20' of space. If needed, we could easily...

    Fall and Winter Together

Not the greatest (taken through our somewhat clean windshield), but a interesting sight. Fall on one side of the road, and Winter on the other. Taken along the western Mass. Turnpike 10/28/2011.
