You will probably get alot of feed back about this, so let me add my 2 cents now. I feel this is a great truck, but is priced much to high, and the box is small. $35k or $40k tops would be about all I'd pay.

Don't just run out and get your own authority, unless you do all your homework first.

This is an excellent service. It is a big help to me.

Why question is, what do the drivers do if the freight doesn't pick up in March? Or is there going to be a war on for the lowest paid runs. May the bidding begain.

It is a good feeling to see someone out there able to turn things around, and come out on top. This industry(expediting)is an addiction and it is very hard to detox from it. AA and NA both have 12 step programs to help people stay off drugs and alcohol. I may come up with a step program to help...

I didn't see your post untill now, and was wondering if you got the run? I do the same type of run (differant freight) only longer miles and longer nights. If you are only going to haul 3 or 4 hundred lbs. then why get a 3/4 ton van when you can do the same with a 1/2 ton and save on plates...

As Lawrence suggested, get with someone that knows what to tell you. To run 75k, or to lease on with a courier and eat all the cost of the van you have to file a form for mileage and I don't think you can use that scale for mileage. That is set up for someone to claim short trips, and only part...
