I usually always say "most" because not all carriers fit into the same mold...And we also don't stay 3-4 days...but I run into quite a few that have been sitting for 4-5 days and the carrier won't pay them to move and they won't move unless they are paid...the ole Mexican standoff....no one wins...

Most carriers want vans to wait 3-4 days and then they'll pay ya to move.....when you say business partner...Is it on your terms or thier terms?...And I am not referring to get paid to get out of non frieght lanes..I am talking say Nashville and move to Louisville..about 150 miles....hardly any...

There's many a carrier won't pay to move a van...I could wait till they offer up pay OR move on my own dime...choices choices...one could also go broke waiting to get a paid move. The van world can be brutal.

Ark...absolutely....one has to look at the whole bill as presented for the vote and see what exactly they were voting on...like you said one good thing in a bill and 10 pork items makes for a bad bill....a bill should pass on it's own merit....pork should be outlawed!

I consider some DH a business investment....sometimes you have to invest a few bucks to get into a better position and then thats where the infamous ROI comes into play... Just like any other business...we are no different. DH is the cost of doing business. And you have to control those costs...

As much as kids seem to hate it..they do need LEADERSHIP! My 3 kids now in early 20's all have told me this. Thier mom was a "choices and rights" type...where I was a do as your told or else type...they knew mom was a push over BUT they knew they'd have to deal with Dad!!! How can kids learn...

There is no benefits to smoking....and it's money up in smoke per say....it serves no uesful purpose...I say this as an addicted person to nicotine!!

I think it goes along with The Right to Clean Air statement. But HEY...I am a smoker and will admit that smoking is a dirty and unhealthy habit.... But then we should ban alchol as well...its the leader by far as a killer and breaking up a family.
