Ok..lets say most carriers the deck is stacked...... But if I agree to a load at 700 miles and at .46 FSC...I don't expect to later find I have to swap it out and FSC turns out to be .24 cents

I was referring more to the van segment...Load maybe subject to swao and FSC is estimated...seems too many ways out for the "other" side...cause once you accept a trip we have no way out at all...the deck is stacked in the houses favour.

We get skipped all the time...they won't offer us a 100 mile load if another solo is close...ONLY when theres no unit to fit the time slot....

Yes..It's called "income averaging"....or to us in the trenchs...spreading it around.....While I understand the idea of it from a carrier point of view...it's NOT right..it punishes the proactive and those willing to work and rewards the lazy. It's a socialistic idea...:mad:

Thats the way I kinda think of it...The J doesn't pay top wages and doesn't seem to be that great a boss....and here is this person doing a great job cleaning up after people and NOT on the public payroll.....And just maybe it makes a terrible job a little worthwhile...

If the showers are clean...I mean clean...you know air vent not all moldy and the corners are clean....then we do tip and thank the attendant for thier effort....with some it seems to really make thier day....especially the ones that care about the job they do......:)

Ya know what really turns us off is the constant smell of sewer gases....last week was terrible....and they now charge .31 cents for your own mug of ice!!!!

We stay out in Terrell Tx now exit 503 on 20...theres a TA..it's CLEAN a big lot for vans and Trucks.....it's only 30 miles east of Dallas...alot nicer.
