We have 2 company trucks and one sprinter....ole fart drivers, on call , part timers....they will go out to local customers and bring back the freight to cross dock with an on route expedite truck for the rest of the journey...better then losing the whole load?? Additional we have a couple...

So when you are making this team "consideration". Do you take into account the bonus money an owner gets for every mile driven? My thinking is...using E-1 as an example because I know the numbers there....an owner gets .05 cents for every mile every truck does as long as he/she has 5 trucks...

Say I am a team in a C truck....getting 60/40 owner pays the fuel...I be sittin for a couple days and an offer comes up,,,after figurin it out. We would make money but the owner won't, yet the fuel is at least covered....do we turn it down because the owner won't make money? or do we take it...

We have an "in house fee" as well...with a small fuel tank the fee outstrips the savings....
