    Attn, recruiters for ALL companies!

The last thing I want to hear when I have a problem is.."It is industry standard" When a carrier claims to be a leader in the industry...THEY set the standard....anything less is a follower..

I'd feel more like.."step into my parlor said the spider to the fly";) As far as sample settlement sheets IF they were handed to me by a CEO or recruiter I'd treat them like a 3 dollar bill.... Forget the numbers samples, forget the charts... Just look me in the eye and serve a good cuppa Joe...

    All state express

I've been holding this back..it is a small irritant but none the less is an issue with me.. I was told by one of the posters on here that you have a policy that the BOL MUST be faxed in to office within 24 hrs... there is a $20 penalty for not doing so... A 1 page fax can cost anywhere from...

Van - better more volume or more weight capacity?

I'll agree with LBD on his thoughts...certainly a 1 Ton. I think the van of choice is the Chevy extended as the wheel base is longer..less overhang at rear as opposed to the Ford with that huge overhang...

Van - better more volume or more weight capacity?

My error dear piper...fuel is supposed to be a cost to like $1.25 is the cap figure on most FSC charts.? Like me for example anything over 24mpg at this time is at break even point...no cost to me...every mpg less takes money from my pocket.

Van - better more volume or more weight capacity?

Transporter is also an independent who figures in his rate of pay to compensate for his fuel...a luxury most here don't have... In my opinion anything less then 15mpg is a no go... There is a direct correlation between your mpg's and the FSC... The better the mpg's the more the FSC offsets the...

Van - better more volume or more weight capacity?

Staying under 10k will keep you from scaling/logbook. Weight only adds to your total cost to run...height does as little(mpg) but won't hurt the van. If you have carrier that pays the proper FSC the price of fuel becomes redundant.
