I told of my theory in another thread...it is all coming together... the Feds are heavily subsidizing the rail industry with all these modular terminals going up.....between the CSA getting rid of marginal drivers and marginal carriers and now this Mexican issue... Railroads are on a hiring...

My 1st carrier was $1,000....$100 a week for 10 weeks... 2nd carrier was $800....@ $50 a week Latest carrier is $500.

The driver merely said what the policy was...and no one is DOWN on him... They don't NEED to hold it...BUT that is their policy...it works for them.... As opposed to say $50 a week for 10 weeks... If one is not in the position to float a mere 3 weeks then maybe a rethink of what one is doing...

LM....I think that is the overall strategy of C&M...they don't want floaters....they don't want trucks that are fly by the seat of the pants... I like it...I think MORE should do it...especially in the CV market...

Ever put 2 + 2 together? All these $$Billions$$ going to rail subsidies....and now tighten up the trucks to make rail look better....seems they keep tightening the screws on highway rules....freight is being steered towards rail...

Well that goes to the wisdom of having a nest egg behind ya...That way C&M doesn't get hoppers....hopefully committed owners and REAL businessmen...not just wheelholders.

ever timed just how much time is lost with a simple pee? think about the process...I bet about 25-30....between slowing down and getting back to highway speed...
