Results of my first catfish in over 30 years. It was good, but looked more like a kittenfish. I've never seen a piece of fish so paper thin. I hope that is not the size norm now with pond raised vs. Lake catch:rolleyes:

Oddly, last time I was in OK, I took a chance and DH to Dallas and it paid off, this time in Dallas area I get a load out of OK. You just never know how it's going to play out :confused: ---Today my search for the right time and place to have Fried Catfish will end. I have two places across...

If getting paid for all miles and leaving others behind is not getting out of Dallas, I'll take that everyday :)

First chance I had to post. 3 hrs after drop off in Dallas I got a nice long run picking up in Oklahoma dropping off near Birmingham Alabama. I think I'm out of hours, time for a reset :p

Brandilyn Collins Dead of Night. Really good book about the search for a serial killer. Kept me glued and guessing to the end. Contains a lot of religious overtones and references so might not be for everybody. Just selected my next book going back to Stephen King's classic Salems lot.

Yep still here but it's early yet. Had a nice long load going to North Dakota yesterday but canceled :( I'm about to finish my first book on my new Kindle Paperwhite I got. It's been years since I've read any book, I really love this thing :)

Yet another reason I don't mind sitting here in Houston Texas :)

Was a nice, but some interesting moments on my trip to Louisiana. ETA was a tad short, 1 hr wiggle room on a long trip. Got a call 2 hrs into trip that I'm running x hrs behind schedules. My GPS said I still had my 1 hr wiggle room, customer updated. 10 miles from delivery I get another call...
