    Anything could happen, But I've never brought a load out Florida, Then again I've never been with a Big Carrier always small Mom & Pops companys. so thats my story and I'm sticking to it!!

    I would most Likely pass on the load, It's unlikely I would get a load out of the Sun don't shine on cargo vans state, and would have to deadhead back to where I started.

    My first Truck was a 1975 International Cab Over 4070b, 318 Detroit and a 10 speed, Leaked Oil Faster than it Burned Fuel, I sure miss that old Truck.

    Not all Disabilty's are visable, I was born with birth defects that make me unable to walk more than 25 yards with out servere pain, but to look at me you would never know it

    Have you checked out hotshothauling.com? It's a decent web site with Forums much like here, I did do some Hot Shot back in the late 80's With a Ford F-350 and a 40' Flat Bed, And unless there was a Big Change in the Rates, you'll never Survive on 20%

    Yep 2500 long wheelbase, Best Van I've ever owned, I've only replaced the the brakes once and a Waterpump and a starter so far and fixed a small oil leak after it had sat for a few months after I retired from driving, GM Was on the ball the day they built this one.

    03 Savanna with a 5.3 fuel filter is on the frame rail and 368,+ miles on the orinigal plugs and still getting 21mpg. Till it breaks ain't nobody fixin it

    Oh yea I forgot about the 20,50# bags of Flour from Toledo Ohio to Cross Lanes W.VA, Going to a Pizza Shop had to be there at 6am, nobody showed up till 10am

    I would hope its 600 mile round trip, and you can't charge enough to hire a driver and make money too. I tried it once, company had 3 routes and I bid on 2 got them, only thing that saved me was the company lost the contract, and we all got the ax. I sold 1 van and worked the other.

    Some states Require Cargo Vans to cross scales, as for the rest We don't have HOS rules or Log if your under 10,000 GVW. Every Carrier and even Brokers has some sort of rules for Cargo Vans, and No 2 Carriers are alike.
