you have to go back to the beginning when there was inovations almost everyday with building trucks and such, but after that we just follow the leader in the last 10 years there hasn't been much. and I'm all ready in the hall offame in my mind.

Yep listen to Greg I drive a 3/4 ton and wish it was a 1 ton, for one the 3/4 ton front end is weaker, I've rebuilt mine twice in 400,000 miles, While a Friends 1 ton is still holding up at 500,000 miles
the k&n gives better breathing but at the expense of more dirt in the engine because of larger holes in the filtering media. no good for the cylinder walls.

My 2003 GMC 2500,get 21mpg, with a 5.3 and Synthetic Fluids in the Engine,Trans and rear end. I also run 70-75 psi in the front tires 80-85 in the rear have no idea what the rear gear ratio is.
