Just got a call for a load going to Brooklyn. Even though it was a tiring day of hill climbing and curvy roads in Va and WV I was mildly interested. But then I heard the other part, New York :eek: Had to pass on that beauty. I believe I made a nice piece of origami from that page of the map book :p

Fortunately my trip from KC to Flat Rock had lots of extra time. So I did just that...slowed down. I drove 60 mph the entire way. Which I never do. The rate was far from desirable so I tried to save a few coins. Battling a strong wind almost all the way, I still ended up with pretty crapy...

Waiting to be unloaded in Flat Rock Mi. At least 1 1/2 hrs before crew starts. Oh well [emoji57]

Well the good news for me, I finally got a load. KC to Detroit. That's about where the good news ends [emoji57]

KC to Wichita, was going to drive back to that hot bed of KC freight I just left :rolleyes: but receiver is closed. So back in Wichita again. I'm sure something good is going to happen right...right? o_O

What a difference with the new driveline. It's so quiet driving. Now I can hear everything else that's going bad [emoji57]

Wounds have been licked , new driveline installed, back in service in Wichita, contemplating my future (again), and at my least favorite place in the world to stay...Walmart [emoji57]

Repairs to the van done. Ended up costing $600 LESS then estimated. I guess that will have to be my birthday present :rolleyes: Will be back at it tomorrow :)
