My time there was pretty nice and quiet. Got pretty busy during the day, but night was nice. Other then no showers, enjoyed being there.

Reminds me of my first trip to Texas. I was expecting nothing but cactus and tumble weeds. 1st trip all I saw was pine trees. I thought, this looks just like Michigan :rolleyes:

And to think I thought equal was just for coffee ;)

Grrrrr, Called a roofing company. Can get an estimate on Friday, no work, just an estimate. Waiting on call back from 2nd company, but not holding my breath :rolleyes: Calgon take me away :(

Forgot to mention, before I was totally terrified being on the roof of my house, I got to see the vents that I suspected were the source of the leak. I'd be surprised if either were the culprits. I'll let the professional figure it out. But I have a bad feeling the leak is actually coming from...

Is that the new one with No Showers, boy was I bummed.

Mine is pretty sturdy, but I have the old style thick cross bars which helps. Don't know about those thin modern types ;)

Flex Seal Applied to Van Roof and Windshield molding. Note to self: Next time cover the solar panels first :rolleyes: Applied Primer to previously treated Rust Reformer application. Applied Enamel Coat of paint, with hit it again in an hour. Looking nice again... at least from a distance :D

Sad, not to nit pick. But I think she will be better remembered from Happy Days.

OMG!!!! I can't ever remember being that scared for my life before. Never, Never, NEVER! Will I ever attempt that again. I'm still trembling. Will be calling a roofer tomorrow, with much more appreciation for what they do. Sent from my iPhone using EO Forums

Ok, since I don't have a appropriate ladder to get on the roof. I'm going to attempt to get to it from my 2nd floor window. If you don't hear back in 30mins, someone call 911 :rolleyes:

I'm remembering now that I used it before to try and tame my windshield leak. After a few months in the heat, it did what it said it wouldn't do, peal and crack and was pretty much useless. I may still may give it another shot ;)

I'll pass on the house roof part. But I think I'll hit the van roof with it today. The last big rain we had showed I need to do a little more ;)

Yeah, pretty sure it's the the vent pipe or attic vent that needs to be sealed. Was only trying to get this guy to do it is because: A- He put the new roof on 3 years ago and did lots of other work for me. B- Checked out other people, but didn't sound like they would be able to get out while I...

I looked into those. For the size I would need at around $700 compared to $128, falls into the same category as why I never had a Yeti cooler ;)

Good Morning. 2nd coffee going down. Didn't sleep well at all. Must of still been worried about my roof leak :dash2: I keep eyeing up my 2nd floor window, wondering if I can climb up to the top roof from there. I'm pretty sure I know what needs to be done, just scared to death to attempt a roof...

Rates can be all over the place depending on where you live. Living in Michigan, Progressive gave me a quote of 6K.

I haven't heard that one in a long time.. Reminds me of my mom growing up. She would always make sure we had $1 on us so we were not a "vagrant" :rolleyes:
