Well, one policy I'd like to see or call it a rule....NO loitering in dispatch...do your business, say your hellos and then move out...far too many times drivers are sitting on the off shift, in the dispatch area shooting the breeze, distracting dispatchers....

A Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot...any deserted area where I can parked is fine by me...

leo...one learns their comfort zone as far as weight goes...As I said..with all my gear and me in the van i weigh about 6,000 give or take maybe 50 either way.... MY personal safety limit is 2,800...and that is IF the load goes across FLAT ground and there is no hurry to get there....and i help...

But Leo....take my case....8550 gross....about 6,000 empty with me and my stuff/fuel....that leaves 2550 on the ticket....say my gas can for the gen. is empty i pick up another almost 50lbs....don't you think you are splitting hairs abit?.....all you need is that ticket for the 2500...
