    When I was leased to PTL they had a van that was shut down in Alabama for not having a log book. after that John always made sure we had a log book when going into Alabama.

    some states you have to go across the scales like Alabama also require a log book, and Indiana pulled me over once to go across a set of portables on 40 near Richmond.

    I have a 3/4 ton GMC the only thong that hasn't been rebuilt or replaced is the Engine and and Rearend, I've replaced tie rods and ball joints 3 times Transmission has been rebuilt 2 times now and it's starting to act up again It has 400,000 miles on it, now I have a friend thathas a 1 ton...

    I've worked for a couple comapnies that let me set the mile limit, I always tried to stay in the 400-600 mile range, that seemed to be my best profit window.

    When I was on the road I would sit for 24 hours after I delivered then started moving back into a stronger lane. if I sat in a van for 3 weeks I would shoot myself.
