The Obama 4 Trillion dollar budget

In response to why gas prices havn't gone up to 5 or 10 dollars yet. Like Obama said: Gradually. We'll get there some day. Probably sooner rather than later. Especially if some are in denial about the role governments play in influencing fuel prices and say or do nothing. While they sleep, the...

The Obama 4 Trillion dollar budget

If you're going to choose 4 dollar gas under Bush as worse, you'll have to qualify that answer. The question was which is worse than month after month of ABOVE 3 dollar gas. (Approx. 26 months in a row). You chose approximately a couple months of 4 dollar gas.

The Obama 4 Trillion dollar budget

Regarding your graph. I noticed it stops in Sept of 2012. So it doesn't include 18 months of additional above 3 dollar gas to the equation. Which added to the beginning of 2012 has begun an unprecedented string of consecutive months of plus 3 dollar gas. If that isn't worse off , what is?

The Obama 4 Trillion dollar budget

I"m not really arguing Bush vs Obama regarding gas prices. Bush's spending or his approval of government spending hurt the strength of the dollar, which is about a third of the equation of gas prices. Obama just hasn't done much to improve the situation and his energy policy and spending...

The Obama 4 Trillion dollar budget

Disagree with the assertion 'very small degree'. As this article points out there are things that can be done and things the government shouldn't be doing that are affecting fuel prices. The article is a year old, but as they say, as much as things change they stay the same. For one, the...
