No i don't hate competition... I dislike that .85 to $1.00 is still considered a good rate. The very same rate when gas was $1.50 a gallon and CVs cost 20k. Competition has driven our rates down so yeah I just might in this case hate competition.

You'd think some carriers would have a vested interest in peeling back the layers, to try and maximize profits.... IMO the Alliance is getting real junky.....the number of carriers that they allow on their board and lack of quality control.

Go to your driver..eye to eye....show him the numbers....he either gets the mpg's up or you rewrite the contract and he pays the fuel..or he can find another truck.....as it is now, he is sucking all your profit margin out the tailpipe....
