    My 2015 Ford Transit Experience

The floor length is 14' 3" on the extended body. I figure 12' for 3 skids and 2' for my comfort stuff. I've been talking to 3 different local dealers and every one of them will sell me a Transit for dealer invoice, give me the $500 rebate Ford is offering and a $1,500 contractors credit package...

    My 2015 Ford Transit Experience

They come with LT235/65R16 BSW S-rated tires on steel wheels. Didn't check the sidewall rating but the tires on my current CV are rated for 3,042 each when used on a srw axel.

    My 2015 Ford Transit Experience

Sorry, never checked the weight of a diesel powered unit. But, they were very quiet and had impressive acceleration. Noticed it had a gauge on the dash showing exactly how full some filter was. The diesel I drove showed 35% capacity. Not sure what it was, maybe that exhaust filter?

    My 2015 Ford Transit Experience

The 2,000# was not making the van squat at all. The weight was 8' long rubber mats stacked about 12" from inside of rear doors. Brakes were amazing. floored the van, got to the end of test track and slammed on brakes to make the corner. no problem stopping. I got all the specs on the...

    My 2015 Ford Transit Experience

At the Transit test drive in Chicago last week I drove the diesel, ecoboost and the 3.7. All had 2000# loads strapped down in the rear. The 3.7 felt stronger then my current 4.8 gm engine. I believe the 6 speed transmission has a lot to do with that power. Lower first gear and 2 overdrive gears...

    Welcome to June, 2014

Couldn't you have earned enough in the 3 weeks you took off to just hire a contractor? Need to wonder if you lost more revenue then the professional would have cost you. But, at least your having fun!!! LOL.

    Welcome to June, 2014

Not a bad week considering I took off Wednesday to go to the Transit test drive event. I'll have over 3,300 miles this week. Got a load out of WI on Monday, took off Wednesday, ran my butt off the next few days and now have a load from PA to IL. Then I'm home for the weekend again. Thanks...

    Pro Master

I've read a lot about the fuel milage and good and bad about the Dodge Pro Master. But I'm just wondering what the drivers are feeling about the power that this 3.6 engine puts out. How do they feel when empty, how do they feel when loaded to their max capacity? Do they easily run 70+ mph when...

    Welcome to June, 2014

That happened to me about 2 months ago. Was the starter. Had NAPA deliver one to me and changed it in the parking lot. Tried jumping it, still had nothing. Tried tapping on the starter, still nothing. These new small, lightweight gear reduction starters just quit when their ready. Mine did give...

    Welcome to June, 2014

LOL, no, not when it takes me within 2 miles of home. I'll get to sleep on my real bed, with my wife, for the next 3 nights in a row. Great week followed by a load right to home. And great $$$ this time out. Started last Thursday, after our vacation, good weekend runs, and back home tonight...
