Made it home ....Since holiday tomorrow , will be calling on vehicles tomorrow and looking to purchase Tuesday ....start Wedsday sitting it up and since BAD storm coming in Thursday , i will wait out storm and go back in service Sunday ...;)

342,000 plus.....oil pressure had been low and was told oil pump was getting weak ...motor seized while idling yesterday morning. ....was looking at newer vans over last couple months anyway. ....just have to play hand given now....atleast didn t happen going to or back from Tx......only 325...

The engine has retired, but thankfully I was empty and just warming it up this morning at this truck stop.......checking out several options at this time. .....

The Gov. pension stopped back in 1987. .If you were hired after that date then you were under the Thrift Savings plan which is like a IRA account...retirement after 25 years of service. ...but after 911 the interest rates dropped to less than 1.5 % ...so instead of retiring at age 57 with my pay...

I spent 15 years as a letter carrier and i loved delivering the mail, , walked 16 miles a day, left in 2003 after 911 it was not a good place to work even in a small town. ...Management turned into total A holes and Postal Service was cutting our benefits. ...but yet upper Management like...
