I keep my CDL in large part because of the nice discount on my insurance. Plus, some companies require it even for CV drivers.

    Ford transit question

The T-350 gvw is 9,500#. And it's single rear wheels. The T-350 HD has dual rear wheels and I believe the gvw is only 10,300#.

Split Speeds are back in many states.

I've got an idea! Let's just give out drivers licenses, without any training or testing, to non English speaking, illiterate illegal aliens! That should help make the roads safer! Oh yea, those drivers don't need to carry insurance because the good people they collide with have their own...

I'll be back in service Wednesday morning. Took 12 days off and found some time to build a new set of shelves for the van. Also mounted a new zero gravity recliner and a new chair for sitting outside. Added a few decorations to make it feel more comfortable too.

Why does the Transit have 2 batteries

Moot, your close but I did order and get the 230 amp alternator and only got the one wet cell battery under the drivers seat. Stuff like the user defined switches or the 110 inverter triggered the battery change. I'm sure other options required the dual batteries also, but not the 230 alt. And...

Why does the Transit have 2 batteries

FYI. The gas Transits only come with one lead acid battery. It's an available option to order the 2 agm batteries. I only have the one battery, I can use my battery separator switch to use the house batteries as backup start batteries if it ever became necessary. It hasn't been needed yet.

Was in PA, Thursday early afternoon I decided to go home. So Murray found me a couple loads that each put me closer to home plus allowed me to make an extra $660 on my way home. [emoji106][emoji106] And I was still home in time to go for a Friday fish fry with my wife.
