    Truck first aid kit.

Excellent post Zane! This subject hasn't come up in a long time. I also was thinking first aid kit for people. I've got both, one I call a first aid kit the other I call a tool box, which is actually a nylon tool bag. My first aid kit contains band-aids, antibiotic cream, manicure...

    Driving Record question

From the above, one could conclude you are an impatient person. Impatience is one of the characteristics of a Type A personality. In my opinion, people with a strong Type A personality are probably not best suited for the expedite industry and usually don't last long in it. There is a lot of...

    Asking the experts

Usually a bad U-joint will make a clunking sound when torque is applied to the driveline so maybe it is the transmission. My Chevy made a grinding, crunchy sound whenever I would hit the throttle hard. My mechanic drove and of course he heard nothing. He had me drive while he listened. He...

Any GM van lock out tips?

I have a spare key stashed. Never had to use, yet. A BFH will get you easy access to the cab, but then you have to deal with all those glass crumbles.

    Baby needs new shoes!

Why wouldn't you run recaps? As mentioned, if the casings are in good shape, then you have an almost new tire for much less than a new one. You may want to make sure you get your casings back from the retreader by noting the serial numbers or branding them.

December locations... Ho Ho Ho powered...

Are you still with Panther? The only load I recall getting out of Grand Forks was airfreight that picked up at FedEx and I went back up to Winnipeg. Phoenix Industries has 3 plants in Fargo, but it has been awhile since I picked up there. They were good for outbound loads on the weekend...

East coast port strike could threaten Economy

At least it is just the East Coast ports. If a strike closed the West Coast ports, Wal-Mart would be forced to close its doors. White Trash Americans would go ballistic and I wouldn't have a place to park or shop.

E350 CV bunks: What's working for you?

Hammocks can come in handy if used just prior to Halloween to add a touch of realism to that raccoon, Hamburglar or Lone Ranger costume.

    Sprinter vs Cargo van?

Do they provide snooty magazines like The Atlantic, Geist, Food & Whine, Lebemann, The New Yorker, Verrückt Magazin, GQ, Bunte, Der Spiegel and of course European Car?

You did in post 11. I took hydrolic (sic) to mean hydraulic, as in fluid.
