    ??FedEx/Panther PAY??

What are the weekly deductions at roadrunner with insurance included? Are they running all 50 states or at least California loads in and out? Do they find you loads or do you bid on them through active aero.

Espar heater installation on the cheap, any recommendations?

As long as its a genuine espar you can sign me up last I checked I thought it was a German company? $300 sounds too good to be true I could see maybe 500-600 with a large quantity like that.

    December freight & fun

I took a load like this once from Denver to Seattle, 0 degree temps in Salt Lake with the doors open. I had a buddy with me and I remember we was hanging a sleeping bag as the partition to keep the draft from coming into the cab.

Sprinter Expert out in LA does excellent work if you make it that far west.

Espar heater installation on the cheap, any recommendations?

What did they end up charging for the installation? Nationwide warranty and service might be the ticket but I'm not sure if I'll keep this 06 Sprinter more then this winter and maybe next with the 2018 about to drop next summer.

Cargo Van When to replace your van

02-06 Sprinter is a tough truck to run more then 600 miles a day in. I hear the guys running the newer ones can do 800 + miles per day. So when you start getting tired on the 650th mile its time to replace the van back to the topic here :woot:

Cargo Van When to replace your van

Russians running for .75 in a 14 sprinter failed to replace alternator at 200k, its known they go out around then. I think they had around 240 on the clock so that van has been moving last couple of years.

Cargo Van When to replace your van

You wanna know the inside rates, I took a load from west tx where the 20 meets the 10 to LA for 1500, I showed up to deliver and the customer was pissed and just said she paid 6000 for two skids 3200 lbs from Dallas. So 25% of that went to me. If only I could have made half of that.

Recovered loads in west tx pay good dollars ;) only if I could repeat that bi weekly.

Cargo Van When to replace your van

You gotta go from a owner operator to a fleet owner to a driver-owner to be able to do these buck a mile rates! :D Low overhead is key not being in debt is key.

Cargo Van When to replace your van

Ok so lets have some real life drivers chime in with some real world real life statistics ;) I'm clearing a buck a mile but I gotta wait a long time for loads which I'm fine with because I only take long hauls or short runs no in between stuff (I don't leave the house for less then a grand+ fuel...

Cargo Van When to replace your van

Panther paying .80 with the surcharge give or take. When I worked for them I made a healthy .97-$1.00 and I was one of the lower paying vans, I could never convince them for the .03 per raise so I had to be happy with just having the hazmat making extra .03 per mile.

Cargo Van When to replace your van

Lets make a list with 30+ carriers with their rates and weekly deductions anyone opposed to it or can we make this a go?? We are about 10% there already in this thread.;) Bolt has some cheap loads but I hear you can just say no to cheap freight

Expedite companies that lease on older vans?

I've researched this in the past, all these companies that are smaller want you to have your own cargo insurance which cost about 400 a month. I hope someone has a better answer. Lower weekly monthly expenses is the trick to this business and waiting for loads that pay, American wages is worth...

Espar heater installation on the cheap, any recommendations?

Was looking for a independent I guess there are none out there... I'm swapping a espar from one sprinter to another. Last guy charged me around 450 I think and the espar stopped working not sure if it was a installation issue or espar problem but the d2 heater only has one season of use on it...

Cargo Van When to replace your van

Last I checked bolt is paying .95-1.05. I also heard load one pays good but you have to get on a list and wait. PTL pays decent I hear but can't get you more then 1200-1400 miles a week but that was a while back when I talked to them. Panther was at .75-80 with surcharge. They don't give any...
