It seems every time I get to believing in one truck stop chain over another, something happens to change my mind. A new feature may be developed, a string of dirty bathrooms may be encountered, etc. Even visiting the same truck stop in the same city a series of times produces variable results...

Sounds like you pretty much answered your own question. If you are not using it, it makes little sense to have it. Only reason to keep it would be if you think you might someday move to a carrier where more lift gate loads are offered.
