    As much as I know, they can't access your plate number just like that, they must pull you over, then request an access to the state where you're from. My guess is they don't like TX plates. I have TX plates too, and believe it or not, as long as I was pulled over and searched, they didn't stop...

    No, they just asked me if I let them search the van. It happened before in GA, KS, WI and NM, but they never messed up my stuff and the search didn't take more than 15-20 mins top.
