That van was for quite a while with Panther... when I signed with them back in March '99, I had truck #1349.

They are expediters, they have a sleeper inside the box, probably a removable one. The only advantage of using a box van is that you can put more freight, even more than a Sprinter, but as in gas consumption, it really sucks, they get about 10-12 mpg.
