Anyone have any experience with Isuzu NPR's? I'm wondering if the smaller (14.5K) ones are any good and what the lifespan of the 175hp diesels is. Looking at getting one from Ryder, strictly city use, they seem to be pretty clean, well taken care of, not abused and most have mileage figures...

As I understood it, cat prices are generally higher than Cummins. Local dealer overcharging you perhaps? The 3126 in my M2 gets around 9.5 with the usual load 4-6K. It runs pretty nicely at speed but shakes like crazy at idle. Overall though its been a good reliable engine, never failed me...

Well as a last resort try some acetone - its rather harsh stuff so wet a rag and wipe dry right away. Failing that a trip to an auto body shop might be in order - polishing compound and a machine buffer might just do the trick.

Another vote for Goo Gone which is a citrus based product that will not damage paint, however it is not as strong as Goof Off so should it be a paint then the Goo Gone probably will not remove it. You can find both in most hardware, Grocery stores, Walmart etc. Be careful using the Goof off...

Let me guess, new compressor, flap actuator and switch assembly? I've found that (even with a new switch) if you've had it set on heat for even a short period of time that it takes forever to get the AC blowing again UNLESS............you switch to AC, turn the temp knob to full cold then snap...

I know the air card thing has been discussed many times but what is best if you spend a lot of time north of the 49th? Since I spend a good 6 hours a day there and anything more than around 200 yards north of the border puts you on a Canadian network I'm not really sure what's the best option...
