    Ok, How about PLANAR?

With all the talk of the webastos and espars, has anyone had experience with the Planar 44d? Its cheaper, Russian, and at least sounds good on paper... I'm not sure that my idea of taking a spare heater core plumbed into the existing Espar is going to heat up the uninsulated cargo area of my...

    December freight & fun

2 marine deep cycles that charge off the normal starting battery, can be connected or not with manual switch. Yes the espar is great but when im in a rush I dont wait for it. Going to drag out my Olympia propane catalytic, the cab heat out of the Espar was laughable at -14, but im sure the...

    Espar of Michigan/espar parts

Is Detroit a safe place to relocate if in right neighborhood?

Other than being asked for gas money by guys driving Cadillacs, I've never been bothered, and I sleep with the windows down. Now the police in Willoughby Ohio "the courtesy city" thats another story... I say buy. And buy a gun too. Then you're covered

Have rates really dropped all that much?

One day there will be an Uber style revolution in trucking, and the practice of flipping a shipment through multiple brokers / carriers will disappear. When I'm updating 3 companies PLUS my own carrier on my location, I have a pretty good idea where the money went with each taking 20% (Edit...

    Upcoming OM654 Sprinter

So...the "old" 4 cyl is being discontinued for a new 4 cyl design and I see the dpf and such is directly part of the engine, not the exhaust pipe...dare I hope they fixed it? Anybody with some inside info, give it up! Link to some tehnical motor introduction info, haven't absorbed it yet myself...

    Hi everyone!

If you're ready start calling. Don't put the phone down till you've got a load confirmation from someone. Rinse and repeat Make sure you've got a good bluetooth and unlimited phone plan...good luck, you're doing ALL the work, but keeping 100% for the extra trouble

Have rates really dropped all that much?

Interesting discussion...wonder what it will take to get the rates up again if the economy does well in the near future...will there be enough to bring on a shortage of cargo vans? The only way I see the shippers coughing up extra is when the freight starts sitting on the dock...

    Truckin' in Style.

Sign me up! I'll just take cargo van loads, no worries about dock high... (Edit: sprinter towed on flatbed, for pickup and delivery lol)

    Hi everyone!

Without at least being on Sylectus this might be a difficult go of it...i'd start with a local internet search of brokers and freight companies...start calling...and be prepared to start with the loads they don't want first (meaning cheap) have your paperwork and proof of cargo insurance ready

Have rates really dropped all that much?

We quote all in, as it rises above the 2.50 range for diesel (haven't paid that but its everywhere) I think we have to adjust the business model here I'm definitely making better money but per miles basis, no...just more miles and very little deadhead What time period are we talking? If I go...
