Plan: DH you to Texas when back in service IF nothing else pops?

because being a farmboy you know the weather is the center of most conversations out here....how much moisture you get? is a prevalent question.....people call from next county over...how much moisture you get.....No snow last year cost the area millions of bushels of lost winter...

Note: If I am going to get screwed over I'd rather be a wee bit warmer...;)

and what purpose do they serve?....besides my console is FULL between GPS, Phone charger and other toys...no where to plug it in..too many wires.

sounds like the double oil pan the Ford LTD Crown Vic had.....double pick up pumps front and back...the crossmember was the reason for the double pan as well...so this isn't the first time engineering was involved...

Nope...but I think it can work..with the right carrier and the right rate....It is feasible...because I don't need a ton of miles per week either and the longest run would be 1200 miles from El Paso to Brownsville...and I don't have to deal with 40 or so people in an office NOT reading the NOTES...

I am thinking nothing north of Dallas, Houston...a nice neat triangle...2 loads a week would be enough for me....

Uber technology is expensive.....the van or truck still has to be insured and repaired...someone has to pay for it...I don't think it will be all that cheap at first...maybe a 100 years or so....

when I come out in January I am DHing right to south Texas...and staying there till March at least...do all local loads back and forth along the border....from El Paso to Brownsville...

Back in the day it was a big issue for us O/O's since carriers appeared to care not..and why should they? We are disposable afterall...was a time we O?O's pretty much controlled OUR own business and carriers did their business...I see more and more carriers trying to take over certain functions...
