    The Government Can't Create Jobs

With last Friday's announcement that the economy lost another 85,000 jobs in the month of December and an unemployment rate still above 10%, renewed pressure is on the federal government to create jobs. However, the truth is that it can't create any new jobs -- at least ones that are going to...

3 killed when steel coil falls off flatbed

The driver in my case also used 4x4's instead of wedges...a square peg on a round object does not work... Living in a steel town the local drivers would get lazy chaining them down because they were just doing a shunt to a storage yard...used to get 4-5 rolls a year fall off...

3 killed when steel coil falls off flatbed

When anything falls off a truck I thought it was automatic that "failing to secure load" charge would be levied? I had a bad accident once and some rolls fell off...and I hit one of them at 65mph and demo'd my truck doing so...the driver told the trooper..that is the way he told to load...

Think also Jefferson is trying to point out...when there appears to be a whack of vans and there really isn't...there is a few ghosts out there...So when your carrier says there is no money in the load for DH because there were other vans in that area...just maybe there wasn't and you are taking...
