The analogy that comes to mind is: Go into the office and say....I am going to cut your wages by 15% BUT there is the opportunity to work overtime to help make up for it...that sounds fair? So you'll make the same money but have to work longer hours to do so... :rolleyes:

also Dave according to E-1 gloating from 08 to 09 load counts were up 60% in 09...go figure.....we now have to run more miles to make what we did in 08....from this side of the fence that is all wrong. In my mind it is to the advantage of a driver doing the 60/40 split and running the wheels...

Unfortunately Dave some carriers think because they supply an abundance of miles you'll make money....where as we think the reverse... E-1 example...2008 numbers compared to 09...loaded miles are up 75% and the fleet is about the same size....so they cut rates with the mind set that with all...

I haven't got a clue Dave...it is 1.12 for straights...there was a 1.20 rate major/minor customers...but that was gone before she came over.... Just as sprinters was 1.05 and 1.00...the 1.05 is suspended as well...
