I deduct all miles driven...Dh or otherwise except for some personal ones....I DH from SD to Minnesota 510 miles and usually 1,000 to get home...I am in service till I get home for the record. It might be an issue IF I were out of service. and I pay the fuel....no problem.

I lived in the Creek on the mountain up on Paramount Dr..Pacex was in my zone...I had no clue what expediting was...kinda fell into it...they treated me well and the money was great,but anything cross border was one way freight but the rate paid well enough to cover it...guess I got itchy feet...

See..I think that is just wrong for the business...sure another truck gets paid and a carrier/broker makes more money.. It's a rip job...are we not to supply the best service available to a customer?

To be honest...business first...if a customer has that second skid and it does not go over 2,000 lbs I'd do the favour, after that if it exceeds the parameters of a CV, now this is where I sell my services, I'll explain that he/shipper would save money even with the upgrade in rate as 2 vans...
