well if were regulating I would have all vans that interstate to be marked with US DOT # in plain sight... the locals don't need one or grandma. The plumbers would be marked "not for hire" it would not be that hard...

Unless you are getting a consistently good rate and FSC anything under 15 mpg would be a no no to me...in to-days world it just doesn't support any less... over the last 9 fill ups I've been averaging 24.4 mpg, low was 22.2, high 27.1

Not really..if there is the usual 3% error margin it could be as little as only 5%...and thats amazing OR it could be as much as 17% even at extremes 17% is not that huge a difference
