Espar...you need a power source...like batteries? inverter? isolator? that is included in the 1500$ ? Typical 1 nighter do the batteries stay charged thru the night? Then you have to idle to recharge right?

If one is under HOS and they can't get the consignee to fax it in...they now must burn hours to go somewhere to do this..IF out of hours they must take the 10 and then drive somewhere effectively starting the clock....unless they cheat and don't record the move...hence illegal..

I've had 3 or 4 a year and my last carrier takes 38% of my work...Why? Maybe the same as D-Time? carrier loses an hour of that units time and maybe losses a load opp? which costs them money..
