Well big business is not stupid..if one stops to think..they seem to project better then any government service....there is some talk but it is mixed on how things will go next year..now if one lets their political persuasion get in the way..one could ignore what they don't want to hear and only...

They could extend or implement their own taxes ya know....

All in all, over my 10 years I've found a lot of customers pretty accommodating...when something arises...I mean we are talking van here...from letting us stay on their lot to hooking us up to shore power, using their showers and lunch room facilities...Americans are pretty generous to help out...

As I said Steve "usually" there are exceptions to the rule of thought... Non related teams can make money but they have to drive their tail off to surpass the miles they could make being solo...but that is a lot of driving...depending on a persons fortitude, burnout usually follows...

Non related teams just end up working twice as hard for half the money.....teaming with a stranger just usually doesn't work...

If a driver does their part CSA should not be a problem... If a driver finds faults in their equipment and it is noted...the drivers is going to have to change trailers and really pizz a dispatcher off by doing so, especially if the trailer is preloaded, like a drop and hook....

When you say it that way Moose...your way of thinking makes sense...safer trucks, NOT safer drivers....hmmmmm

From my opinion and experience...driver is responsible for everything to do with the truck...from maintenance, health and safety, load securement, to having all paperwork for truck, route planning. And then he/she has to drive the darn thing...We are not paid enough! Oh did I mention having to...
