We were in the same boat back in 05...the regular maintenance schedule was a real expensive ordeal...we like you had to adapt to the expediting ways....mostly highway miles and learning where we could extend mileage especially filters, which are wayyy too expensive.

Not disputing your savings none but the TA is usually more expensive then most...so that offsets a little..

as in the past the supply line will get better..and the parts will get a bit cheaper as the knock-off parts will start appearing.. Hobo...once your warranty is up, you can add at least 30k to that filter... Everyone tries to copy the sprinter but they all come up short in 1 way or another...

keep in mind if your straight only gets 7 mpg that is on YOU...no one is going to pay more FSC because you drive a fuel guzzler....same for vans....if you only get 13 mpg tough luck...the formula is based on 15 mpg....it is NOT to pay 100% of fuel either....just a portion.

A lot of parts are made in Mexico that come across to US and Can assembly plants...IF they reduce the cost of them parts....we can export more and compete worldwide...and maybe create some jobs....This is a big world..we can not isolate ourselves and be just a country of consumers like we are...
