As someone already mentioned, we use it for distance to a board, and maybe how many trucks might be in an area. But it is only as good as the last update. We look at several load boards and see where the freight is. In the event a load doesn't materialize, we know we likely have other options...

The daily averages are on your macro 8. We may call and ask how many trucks are at a location, but that is it. We only run teams so that is the only reason we call on that. Averages by the day don't mean much. I look at freight volumes out of specific areas to determine if they are of value...

Yes I'm definitely thinking of jumping in a t/t this year by the end of the year. I'm saving every penny I make in my van to get into a tractor as soon as possible..not that theres anything wrong with being in a van...I just understand theres alot more miles and alot more flexibility in a t/t...
