That gun tax could lead to a REALLY interesting court battle. A tax on an object that we have a Constitutional RIGHT to own!! What other RIGHT is taxed? Were not "poll taxes" outlawed?

We picked up a new Frigidare 4.4 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer today. It was on sale for $223.00. It will NOT get put in this trip home. We are going to have to have cabinets rebuilt to have it fit. It has a good size REAL freezer. It is going to be nice once it is all finished.

I know what you mean. I have had hearing aids for at least 15 years now. My hearing is getting worse and the tinitus is getting louder. I am being sent for ANOTHER hearing evaluation, in November unless I can get it changed. This time the VA is sending me to an outside doctor.

I spent the better part of 20 years with things either stuck in my ears or near them. I don't WANT things in them anymore. I just want to hear my phone without my hearing aids in. They hurt and itch after they are in for a while too.

Last winter saw a weak El Nino. If things follow weather history this winter should see a La Nina. It is something to watch. Last winter was pretty darn cold and saw a lot more snow than we had been seeing. Odd for an El Nino year. It should have been warmer and drier than normal.
