I guess it depends on the state. In California I believe you need a class B to drive an airbrakes truck. At least that was how it was back in '88 In Indiana you just need a Chauffeurs license. Which allows you to drive a truck under 26001. I think you need a Class B to drive a school bus...

Having personally owned a Chevy van with the 6.5 diesel, I probably would not buy another Chevy diesel. Maybe the Duramax is better but I personally think the Ford 7.3 is a better engine.
