Navigation was an option that was a few dollars per week extra. It will now be a no cost item. You many not have opted for the navigation option previously. Now your trucks can have it for free.

The dealer in Lansing MI seems good. They sold a few to some of our O/O's.

True. But now on having to have an overall fleet economy they need stron mpg to compensate for truck and suv sales. They make their best profit on these vehicles.

I personally wish Hollywood, stars and musicians would put out of politics. Does anyone really think the lead singer of some bad is a good source for political advice?

I always believe if any of these things really worked, the engine or car/truck mfg would buy them up in a second to have competitive advantage. Especially in a time when they are fighting and working to reach new fuel economy standards.

I think the hazmat routing option is in there as well.

That is great!!!! We were hoping these two enhancements would improve the in-cab experience for our drivers, improve a number of metrics and reduce some hassle, cut O/O costs and save them money.

Do you like it better and find it easier than the old way? (you were part of scientific beta test group, some were given fake qualcomms and we measured driver acceptance :rolleyes:)

We have been testing it so I think maybe 15 units in the fleet have it. This will replace the maptuit navigo. The ALK product is much faster, reroutes faster and is more friendly according to all the feedback the test drivers gave us. We are not charging for the Navigo as of last week. But...
