I changed my air filter in my 2005 Sprinter today and now my engine control light is on and won't go out. Kinda like I've fallen and I can't get up. Anyway. Has anyone ever run into this before??? I hate to feed my dealer any more than he'se got already but I guess I'll be going there tomorrow.

I've got lotts to be thankful for but man am I Full.

Nope .....118000 miles and no bearing problems. The brakes look fairly good too.

I prefer to go to Whiteland when I'm in the Indy area. It's a lot quieter there and not nearly as busy. It seems a lot cleaner too. Freight has been a lot slower out of that area lately though. At least for us.

I guess it depends on your company. My dispatch usually remembers when I do them a favor and they may save a really good one for me because I took that crappy load. We also have a few customers that give us a lot of business. I try to take their loads good or bad because they have so many good...

By the way. My alignment guy says all you can do on a Sprinter is set the toe. Nothing else can be adjusted. Besides, it did the wind dance thing when it was brand new. Back in the old days I had a 1967 Dodge van that was almost as bad.

Yup, the thing heads for the ditch every time a big truck goes by on a windy day. I think it's just a little timid. I still like it though. You just have to show it who the boss is and take command. Still, If I had it to do over again I might have bought a Chevy cutaway instead.

Dispatch said things were very slow but I stayed fairly busy on those crappy loads all you other guys turned down.

There was an old black dog up in Presque Isle MI that slept on the road all the time. He was really large. Probably a Newfoundland. Folks used to come into the local store and say they saw a bear sleeping on the road. I don't think anyone ever hit him either.
