The Word of the Lord, according to Warren Jeffs

I have to point out that it's much easier to label a person of faith. A guy who is a plain ol zipperhead wack job but has no given religion is just a wack job. If he professes some sort of faith then he is a fanatic. Seems to me a wack job is a wack job. I wouldn't rush to put a lable on...

    Watch out!!

Here in west Michigan we had strait line winds that caused a lot of damage. My neighborhood was spanked real bad and there is the steady drone of chainsaws and shredders yet today. There was a man killed by a falling tree in Cutlerville, not more than 2 miles from the exit 75 truck stop south of...

    Recruiting spam

Forgive me, but, your reaction seems a teeny bit harsh. I really don't see any great conspiracy here or any intentional flaunting of the law. At the risk of offending you, I suggest you take a valium and make yourself a tinfoil hat.

    Love's fuel desks

This is nothing new. There are a few Loves that seem to keep up but most are like this. My reaction was to avoid loves in favor of TA, Petro, and Flying J. I seldom used Pilot too, but that was because of extra charge credit card issues. I guess that I would probably have issues with Flying J...

    Report your weather

Grand Rapids MI near Exit 75, US131. It's just plain cold and should be colder tomorrow. Lots of snow on the ground but not much new since sunday. I'm mixing up a toddy and stirring up the fire.

    Premium Transportation Logistics (ptlllc)

I have experience with PTL. John will tell it like it is. If it seems like a good fit for you, then go for it. The only time I have suspected Johns sincerity is when he is talking about his fishing success.

    Sleeping across in a van?

I couldn't see you while you were shaking the truck buuuuuut, if it wasn't strength it could have been mass. I thought someone had run into me and messed up my truck. Even then I was a little slow to look outside because you never know what you may experience, or who is out there, at the Dallas J.:D

    Sleeping across in a van?

I'm 6'1" and fluffy. I slept very comfortably on a 30" crosswise bunk behind the seats in a Sprinter. I still miss that bunk. However I was awakened by Highway Star shaking my truck. I don't kow how anyone can shake a Sprinter that much. He must be stronger than he looks.

Why bother to go to EO at all?

I lurked on here for quite some time and it was the main reason I started in this business driving a D truck for an owner. I continued to lurk and finally joined about the same time I bought my first truck. EO has helped me to sell an FL70 and a Sprinter. I have used the site to stay informed...

    Marvel Mystery Oil

I have used the oil as the first step in restoring antique engines that have been laying around for years. I just put some in the crankcase and some through the spark plug hole and wait a while. I turn the engine over slowly until it spins freely. This prevents scoring on rare or even...

    to walk a mile

Be suure to change direction on your turns or you'll wear out the inside shoe prematurely. What are people thinking as your Sprinter agitates in response to your movements?

22 ft. box or 24 in. box?????

Mine had a 22' box and I liked having the extra 2' to store straps, bars, step ladder, broom, and pallet jack. It had a 72" sleeper which is plenty of room for a single driver. I think a team would probably want a little more space in the sleeper. The truck I drove before that had a 24' box and...

    Premium Transportation Logistics (PTL)?

    John's a good guy ... but ... I don"t think he's entirely truthful about his fishing escapades.

    If you had a chance/opertunity

I really prefered the Sprinter. It was difficult to make a decent living in the strait truck as a single driver and the new HOS rules made it even harder. Come to think of it, it was difficult making a living in the van too. Anyway, I'd prefer a van over trying to make it single (and legal)...
