I drive a class 6 Hino and can tell you the ride is terrible. My truck is leaf spring front and back. I am not sure on 7 and 8 trucks but don't most have air ride cabs and air ride rear suspension? My next truck will definately have air ride rear suspension:)

30 to 40 grand is acheiveable if you run the wheels off your truck. If that is what you want and need you probably need to look at driving a semi for a company and not expediting, sad but true.
