Well another example if why I think the multi carrier model. The carriers are signing most contracts with customers and carriers that require 100k. So then they only have the van get 25k. Then the carrier gets a cert for one truck showing 100k for the customers. NICE.

I agree with Davekc completely. My opinion if you are leased to a carrier and hauling their freight, than the carrier should provide the insurances and manage any claims. I would question the intent if someone is doing it differently. They are shifting expense and burden to the owner operator...

They need to "right size" the city. The problem is you have an infrastructure for 2 million that now has a population of under 750,000. The math just doesn't work. It will be a hard thing to fix.

I am hoping to go this year. I have not been in a few.

Ok, it is not the cable but the tv in the drivers room that is having some issues and causing those lines on the screen. We have ordered a new one and will have it replaced and up and running within a week.

Still slow. Normal for this time of year, but still hate it.

I think it is actually the ballast. We will get it changed out tomorrow. Thanks.

No bad moods here. I just hate sitting trucks. Jan is not my favorite month for f'or doing that. I like keeping you guys moving. I like making you guys money.

It is far from my favorite month of the year. Good news is most plants are all back up tomorrow and we are seeing improved volumes per unit over prior years. But it is still January so it is what it is.

Welcome to January. Although it has actually started with better volumes than the last few years.
