I frequent a few independent truck stops, they don't have the glitz and glam of the name brand ones
I find a lot of the independents will say help yourself to a cup of coffee or a soda, a little goes a long way and it makes me want to come back:)
Okay, I got the skinny
The Ceva office in Indy is not closing
The contract logistics/warehousing side is closing
Ceva lost the John Deere account and that is what is closing down.
Also, the Fort Wayne branch is going to start a sales push, hiring two new salespeople to increase business here.
Wow, I figured Fort Wayne would be the one to close, since the Indy location is large.
Hopefully that means we are safe for now:eek:
I believe all amazon.com shipments come out of Plainfield
If we lost them that is huge
Too funny, If I take a nap in my truck I have to open the door and my feet stick out, never had anyone mistake me for dead though hehehe sounds like you need a toe tag"Not dead yet"
I've seen people tint them and then put insulation on the inside, the foam that people use when siding a house, if you have the rest of the van is insulated the windows lose a lot of heat or cold, if the van isn't insulated then it's not a big deal.
So far it is working for me. Ceva does not have exclusive use of me and my truck, this is in the contract.
Recently, I've picked up a m-f run through Ceva and then run for Towne Air in the morning. I am not running as a true expeditor as most companies on here are though.
