    plastic panels?

Unless you have a friend at Rhino Liner or Line X, the cost would be pretty high for a van. I got an estimate for the interior of a Jeep Wrangler/stripped with seats out etc of nearly $600 dollars, and the Inerior of a Jeep is pretty small. It would cut down on road noise and heat transfer though.

I hope your kidding:D:rolleyes: I see alot of drivers with dirty, torn or holey T-shirts with their gut hanging out the bottom...a good appetite suppresant LOL The best compliment in the TV lounge is when they say it's for truck drivers only....and I don't fit in LOL

    Rand McNally TND 700

I'd consider a map upgrade except for one problem, I bought this unit off of Amazon new, and the price was pretty inexpensive. It is almost cheaper to buy a new one with new map software then to upgrade the one I have, also I am not sure how long the screens last on these units as my Nuvi is my...

Amen to that, read back at least a year, two would even be better since that is when some were just starting to struggle in this business. I started in April of last year and it was tough, this year I am doing much better, but the economy is very volatile right now so who knows what the next...

Specing a new truck, need advice

I am 18 months into a 3 year lease, but the the truck is being replaced due to many problems, so at this point I can't really walk away, besides in the past Penske has been good to me. I know everyone there and have dealt with them for the past ten years(although I was driving trucks owned by...

    Were To Get Financing

There is a good reason the banks won't finance a commercial truck, repo's are on the rise and lots of truck drivers/expeditors are going broke. Your best bet is probably the truck dealership, unless you have equity in your house(not recommended) or money in the bank. Funny how it works, if...

So the big question is, and I respect your answer Turtle because you do know your stuff. I have a Garmin 200W that is about three years old and in dire need of an upgrade. Should I buy another Garmin possibly with a little more bells and whistles ie lane assist or maybe the 465t or go for the...

Buy A New Van Right Off the Bat?

Penske, ryder, idealease, paclease etc etc Mine is with Penske and I wouldn't recommend a lease for an expeditor, way too expensive and you can't modify the vehicle. I pay a base lease and then 8 cents a mile which covers all maintenance, fluids, tires, 26 washes etc. I pay for Diesel that is...

Specing a new truck, need advice

I wonder why all the trucks I've driven come with the 5 speed and not a 6 speed Hmmmm The International Prostar I am driving has the Maxxforce DT engine, I believe it's just the newest version of the tried and true DT466 After being in that Hino I realized that I don't have to floor the truck...
