Well, strange stuff again today. Finished AM delivery in CT from yesterday's JFK pick up. They called and asked if I could PU in Newark and take to So Boston? I asked if that was the one from yesterday that couldn't wait? She said yes & no. They made the pick up and delivered this AM, BUT...

They figured it out......I passed on Newark NJ to South Boston for .90 mile. Took JFK to New Britan CT for $5 a mile. After the trip in the rain to JFK I know why they paid that much!!

Strange, but I was just dispatched 2 loads at the SAME time, 1 going north, 1 going south........waiting for them to sort it out. Hope I keep one of them??

Just back in service after 9 days out since the food poisoning. Last Sunday night I slipped in the bathroom, knocked myself cold, bled like I was in a slaughterhouse. Minor concussion took a few more days away. READY to go now! Picture show HUGE Walmart being built in my NJ shore community...

TIRE INFO: If you are like me and have a newer Transit the tire size is LT235/65R16 and there are only 2 makers, Hankook and Continental. The Hankook are 6 ply and the Conti are 10 ply. I got 60+ out OH the Hankook that came new. Just put on the Conti which looks like it will be better...

OH BOY, I'll trade - what a day. INA at 8. Parts han't even been made yet. Took myself off load and started north on I77. Stopped at Harris Teeter for salad bar. Dispatch called and said same load was ready so I ate my salad and went back at noon. Uh-uh, no load yet. I snoozed and at 3:00...

At INA bright and early. Checking to see if/when load will be ready - imagine that!

XMUDMAN describing his planned up-fit made me think. My 3500 Transit with (2) bunks, flooring, walls, narrow shelves, roof AC, generator, small refer, supplies, fuel and co-pilot now weighs an incredible 7400#. How does that compare with some of y'all if you care to share? Also, any thoughts...
