If you are ever near Auburn,In off of I69 The Auburn Cord Duesenburg Museum is a must see those cars are pieces of art and getting in there with a straight truck is not hard. Also the WWII museum is another must see exit 11a I haven't been to the Natmus auto museum behind the ACD Museum but...

The newer trucks with the DPF systems actually get worse mileage than some of the older trucks, I am actually quite happy with getting 8 to 9

Kinda funny the shop isn't here in Auburn where the cars were built. Those are some very beautiful cars. to think they were building these cars during the depression baffles the mind saw over 100 today alone

In 1969 Volkswagen had the automatic stickshift in the Beetles, it was only a two speed though low and high. Yes, I know the Ultrashift is a manual, but unlike a tractor it doesn't have a clutch pedal and the shifter looks like a automatic.

That's pretty good mileage. My new truck is getting in the high 8's to 9's with the Ultrashift and that is with me driving normally, city/highway mix. If I slow down a bit and once the truck gets broken in it might increase from there. :) That's running 4.11 gears in the rear with an Eaton...
